For this game, I managed a team towards the goal of making a game. The challenge was to practice rapid prototyping, and my team decided to explore gamifying education. From there, "The Arithmetician" was born.
The game takes place in the dream of a child who has fallen asleep while studying for their math test. In this dream, the player is a fox dressed in wizard clothes who is being quizzed by lively letter grades. One by one, as the player answers the questions correctly, they are challenged by the different letter grades, until they finally achieve an A.
The game was made in Stencyl, and all art assets were created by me using Photoshop. The team collaborated to create a Game Document to outline the full project. View the GDD here:
